The emission was modulated in such a manner that the sources shifted equatorward in the high-latitude sheath while sometimes undergoing brief poleward returns. This modulation and the IMF BZ tend to have correlative variations. During this interval of interest, SuperDARN was receiving strong backscattered signals from large potions of the dayside ionosphere. This observation indicates that the equatorward motion of the cusp latitude consists of rapid and slow phases. This kind of equatorward shift appears to correlate with the motion of the emission observed by LENA in the direction of the high-latitude sheath, which gives evidence for a means for monitoring the high-altitude cusp using IMAGE/LENA. It thus appears that the two remote sensing observations, i.e., IMAGE/LENA and SuperDARN radar would provide promising opportunities to understand the detailed dynamics of the polar cusp extending from the low-altitudes to the high-altitudes.","subitem_description_type":"Other"}]},"item_1_identifier_registration":{"attribute_name":"ID登録","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_identifier_reg_text":"10.15094/00006380","subitem_identifier_reg_type":"JaLC"}]},"item_1_publisher_22":{"attribute_name":"出版者","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_publisher":"National Institute of Polar Research"}]},"item_1_source_id_13":{"attribute_name":"雑誌書誌ID","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"AA11397422","subitem_source_identifier_type":"NCID"}]},"item_1_text_10":{"attribute_name":"著者所属(英)","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_text_language":"en","subitem_text_value":"Department of Information and Communication Engineering, University of Electro-Communications/Department of Information and Communication Engineering, University of Electro-Communications/NASA Goddard Space Flight Center/NASA Goddard Space Flight Center/NASA Goddard Space Flight Center/National Institute of Polar Research/National Institute of Polar Research/Applied Physics Laboratory, The Johns Hopkins University"}]},"item_files":{"attribute_name":"ファイル情報","attribute_type":"file","attribute_value_mlt":[{"accessrole":"open_date","date":[{"dateType":"Available","dateValue":"2004-08-01"}],"displaytype":"detail","filename":"KJ00000729595.pdf","filesize":[{"value":"1.1 MB"}],"format":"application/pdf","licensetype":"license_6","mimetype":"application/pdf","url":{"label":"KJ00000729595","url":"https://nipr.repo.nii.ac.jp/record/6380/files/KJ00000729595.pdf"},"version_id":"30eceb91-5561-4180-b2cc-1f22ac4703f7"}]},"item_keyword":{"attribute_name":"キーワード","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_subject":"polar cusp","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"magnetopause","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"magnetosheath","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"neutral atoms","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"HF radars","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"}]},"item_language":{"attribute_name":"言語","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_language":"eng"}]},"item_resource_type":{"attribute_name":"資源タイプ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"resourcetype":"departmental bulletin paper","resourceuri":"http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_6501"}]},"item_title":"Simultaneous observations of the cusp with IMAGE Low Energy Neutral Atom Imager and SuperDARN radar","item_titles":{"attribute_name":"タイトル","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_title":"Simultaneous observations of the cusp with IMAGE Low Energy Neutral Atom Imager and SuperDARN radar"}]},"item_type_id":"1","owner":"4","path":["808"],"pubdate":{"attribute_name":"公開日","attribute_value":"2004-08-01"},"publish_date":"2004-08-01","publish_status":"0","recid":"6380","relation_version_is_last":true,"title":["Simultaneous observations of the cusp with IMAGE Low Energy Neutral Atom Imager and SuperDARN radar"],"weko_creator_id":"4","weko_shared_id":4},"updated":"2023-07-25T12:02:18.229792+00:00"}
