The subantarctic bryophytes in East African Highlands can be classified into three groups : Group 1 includes species growing on wet rocks in periglacial environment of the Afroalpine region such as Andreaea subulata, Bryum ellipsifolium and Rhacocarpus purpurascens; Group 2 includes those growing on trunks and rocks of forests in the Afromontane region such as Clasmatocolea vermicularis, Catagonium nitens and Dicranoloma billardieri; Group 3 is represented by Aongstroemia julacea on bare land of the Afroalpine region. The bryophytes of Groups 1 and 2 seem to be old elements which have been originated from the Gondwanaland. Group 1 seems to have been diffused from the region of Group 2 after the last glaciation. Group 2 has been restricted in the Afromontane forest since the Late Cretaceous. Group 3 is considered to have been newly distributed after the last glaciation because it is found in young volcanoes erupted in the Quaternary. The ice-age aridity in Africa affected the distribution of bryophytes severely. The Afromontane forests in the inselbergs of East Africa seem to have played an important role as refugia for Groups 1 and 2 during the glacial age.","subitem_description_type":"Other"}]},"item_1_source_id_13":{"attribute_name":"雑誌書誌ID","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"AA00733561","subitem_source_identifier_type":"NCID"}]},"item_1_text_10":{"attribute_name":"著者所属(英)","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_text_language":"en","subitem_text_value":"Miyajima Natural Botanical Garden, Faculty of Science, Hiroshima University"}]},"item_files":{"attribute_name":"ファイル情報","attribute_type":"file","attribute_value_mlt":[{"accessrole":"open_date","date":[{"dateType":"Available","dateValue":"1986-12-01"}],"displaytype":"detail","filename":"KJ00000012612.pdf","filesize":[{"value":"997.0 kB"}],"format":"application/pdf","licensetype":"license_6","mimetype":"application/pdf","url":{"url":"https://nipr.repo.nii.ac.jp/record/2059/files/KJ00000012612.pdf"},"version_id":"d741a9b9-9260-4ba0-b438-13c5650bdd2c"}]},"item_language":{"attribute_name":"言語","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_language":"eng"}]},"item_resource_type":{"attribute_name":"資源タイプ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"resourcetype":"departmental bulletin paper","resourceuri":"http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_6501"}]},"item_title":"Subantarctic elements of the bryophytes in East African Highlands","item_titles":{"attribute_name":"タイトル","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_title":"Subantarctic elements of the bryophytes in East African Highlands","subitem_title_language":"en"}]},"item_type_id":"1","owner":"4","path":["398"],"pubdate":{"attribute_name":"公開日","attribute_value":"1986-12-01"},"publish_date":"1986-12-01","publish_status":"0","recid":"2059","relation_version_is_last":true,"title":["Subantarctic elements of the bryophytes in East African Highlands"],"weko_creator_id":"4","weko_shared_id":4},"updated":"2023-07-25T13:45:44.150045+00:00"}
