The turbulent fluxes of momentum, sensible and latent heat were measured at three locations with a snow-water-snow fetch. At the snow site upwind of the water, the stability was generally stable, the momentum flux small, and the sensible heat flux positive. Over the water however, the internal boundary layer that was formed gave on average an increased vertical gradient in wind speed, temperature, and humidity and turbulent heat fluxes exceeding 400 W m−2. At the snow surface downwind of the water, the conditions were highly variable and all the fluxes were, on average, of very small magnitude. That the behaviour of the internal boundary layers can be highly variable is demonstrated through four case studies. This phenomenon is likely to increase in occurrence with a changing climate.","subitem_description_type":"Abstract"}]},"item_10001_relation_17":{"attribute_name":"関連サイト","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_relation_name":[{"subitem_relation_name_text":"10.1016/j.polar.2020.100549"}],"subitem_relation_type_id":{"subitem_relation_type_id_text":"https://doi.org/10.1016/j.polar.2020.100549","subitem_relation_type_select":"DOI"}}]},"item_10001_source_id_9":{"attribute_name":"ISSN","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"18739652","subitem_source_identifier_type":"ISSN"}]},"item_access_right":{"attribute_name":"アクセス権","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_access_right":"metadata only access","subitem_access_right_uri":"http://purl.org/coar/access_right/c_14cb"}]},"item_creator":{"attribute_name":"著者","attribute_type":"creator","attribute_value_mlt":[{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Sjöblom, Anna","creatorNameLang":"en"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Andersson, Andreas","creatorNameLang":"en"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Rutgersson, Anna","creatorNameLang":"en"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Falck, Eva","creatorNameLang":"en"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]}]},"item_keyword":{"attribute_name":"キーワード","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_subject":"Arctic","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"Svalbard","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"Turbulent fluxes","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"Measuring techniques","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"Air-sea interaction","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"}]},"item_language":{"attribute_name":"言語","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_language":"eng"}]},"item_resource_type":{"attribute_name":"資源タイプ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"resourcetype":"journal article","resourceuri":"http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_6501"}]},"item_title":"Flow over a snow-water-snow surface in the high Arctic, Svalbard: Turbulent fluxes and comparison of observation techniques","item_titles":{"attribute_name":"タイトル","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_title":"Flow over a snow-water-snow surface in the high Arctic, Svalbard: Turbulent fluxes and comparison of observation techniques"},{"subitem_title":"Flow over a snow-water-snow surface in the high Arctic, Svalbard: Turbulent fluxes and comparison of observation techniques","subitem_title_language":"en"}]},"item_type_id":"10001","owner":"26","path":["2025"],"pubdate":{"attribute_name":"公開日","attribute_value":"2020-10-08"},"publish_date":"2020-10-08","publish_status":"0","recid":"16060","relation_version_is_last":true,"title":["Flow over a snow-water-snow surface in the high Arctic, Svalbard: Turbulent fluxes and comparison of observation techniques"],"weko_creator_id":"26","weko_shared_id":-1},"updated":"2023-07-25T13:00:09.261792+00:00"}
