Over 90% pteropod abundance was distributed in the upper 50 m; 70–100% were immature veligers. Limacina retroversa was dominant in the >0.2 mm individuals north of 60°S, L. helicina dominated south of 62°S, while populations around 60–62°S were mixed. Unidentifiable small Limacina spp. (ssL) were highly abundant in the upper 50 m at 60°S, 63°S, and 64°S on 110°E and 63°S on 115°E, although their estimated particulate organic carbon (POC) biomasses were less than that of Limacina adults. Adult females bearing egg clusters were found in the 0–50 m layer; the veligers likely grew within a short period. The mean downward flux of ssL and veligers at 70 m around 60°S, 110°E was 5.1 ± 1.6 × 103 ind. m−2 d−1 (0.6 ± 0.2 mg C m−2 d−1), which was 3.8% of the integrated ssL and veligers in the upper 70 m, suggesting that at least 4% of the veligers were produced daily in the surface layers. The mid-summer spawned ssL and veligers likely contributed to the subsequent increase in large pteropods in the area.","subitem_description_type":"Abstract"}]},"item_10001_description_6":{"attribute_name":"内容記述","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_description":"夏季の南極海インド洋区において、100μm目合いの閉鎖型プランクトンネット及び漂流型セディメントトラップを用いて有殻翼足類を採集し、その現存量と生物量を調べた。全有殻翼足類の90%以上が50m以浅の水柱に分布し、それらの70-100%が未成熟な初期幼生であった。>0.2mmの大型個体は60oS以北においてはLimacina retroversa、62oS以南においてはL. helicina、60-62oSにおいては両種が混在している。現存量の最優占群は未同定の小型Limacinaであり、特に110oEの60、63、64oS測点、および115oEの63oS測点の50m以浅に多い。しかしそれらの推定POC生物量はLimacinaの成体より少量であった。50m以浅に見られる成体雌は卵塊を抱えており、孵化した初期幼生は数日で成長する。60oS、110oE付近において70mの深度でトラップに採集された小型個体と初期幼生は、個体数および生物量フラックスとして5.1 ± 1.6 × 103 ind. m-2 d-1 (0.6 ± 0.2 mg C m-2 d-1)であったが、その値は70m以前に生息する有殻翼足類現存量の3.8%に過ぎない。少なくとも現存量の約4%が小型個体と初期幼生として再生産されていることを示唆している。これらは、その後の大型個体の増加に寄与するものと考えられる。","subitem_description_type":"Other"}]},"item_10001_relation_14":{"attribute_name":"DOI","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_relation_name":[{"subitem_relation_name_text":"10.1016/j.polar.2017.02.003"}],"subitem_relation_type_id":{"subitem_relation_type_id_text":" https://doi.org/10.1016/j.polar.2017.02.003","subitem_relation_type_select":"DOI"}}]},"item_10001_source_id_9":{"attribute_name":"ISSN","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"18739652","subitem_source_identifier_type":"ISSN"}]},"item_access_right":{"attribute_name":"アクセス権","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_access_right":"metadata only access","subitem_access_right_uri":"http://purl.org/coar/access_right/c_14cb"}]},"item_creator":{"attribute_name":"著者","attribute_type":"creator","attribute_value_mlt":[{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Akiha, Fumihiro","creatorNameLang":"en"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"57272","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Hashida, Gen","creatorNameLang":"en"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"57273","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Makabe, Ryosuke","creatorNameLang":"en"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"57274","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Hattori, Hiroshi","creatorNameLang":"en"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"57275","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Sasaki, Hiroshi","creatorNameLang":"en"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"57276","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]}]},"item_keyword":{"attribute_name":"キーワード","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_subject":"Shelled pteropods","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"Limacina helicina","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"Limacina retroversa","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"Antarctic ocean","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"Distribution","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"}]},"item_language":{"attribute_name":"言語","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_language":"eng"}]},"item_resource_type":{"attribute_name":"資源タイプ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"resourcetype":"journal article","resourceuri":"http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_6501"}]},"item_title":"Distribution in the abundance and biomass of shelled pteropods in surface waters of the Indian sector of the Antarctic Ocean in mid-summer","item_titles":{"attribute_name":"タイトル","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_title":"Distribution in the abundance and biomass of shelled pteropods in surface waters of the Indian sector of the Antarctic Ocean in mid-summer"},{"subitem_title":"Distribution in the abundance and biomass of shelled pteropods in surface waters of the Indian sector of the Antarctic Ocean in mid-summer","subitem_title_language":"en"}]},"item_type_id":"10001","owner":"37","path":["1819"],"pubdate":{"attribute_name":"公開日","attribute_value":"2017-06-05"},"publish_date":"2017-06-05","publish_status":"0","recid":"14132","relation_version_is_last":true,"title":["Distribution in the abundance and biomass of shelled pteropods in surface waters of the Indian sector of the Antarctic Ocean in mid-summer"],"weko_creator_id":"37","weko_shared_id":-1},"updated":"2023-07-25T15:24:30.689049+00:00"}
