The field party comprised two geodesists, one geomorphologists, and one magnetospheric scientist. The Belgian Antarctic Research Expedition (BELARE) and International Polar Foundation (IPF) supported this field expedition. Dronning Maud Land Air Network (DROMLAN) provided airborne access from Cape Town, South Africa to the Sør Rondane Mountains via Novolazarevskaya Airbase. The survey areas of this field expedition are the central parts of the Sør Rondane Mountains and the Belgica Mountains.
