On the basis of the correlation analysis, the LF waves lagged behind auroral emission by 8s. This evidence is explained by the assumption that the pulsating LF waves were generated by precipitating low energy electrons modulated near the magnetic equator simultaneously with high energy auroral electrons causing the auroral emission.
